NYX Cosmetics | Tinted Brow Mascara

I have never had my eyebrows waxed, threaded, plucked or shaved because naturally I don't have full eyebrows, barely even connected eyebrows..lol. I've always used an eyebrow pencil since I was introduced to one and once I found what I thought to have been my 'holy grail' I haven't tried anything else until I went into Ulta yesterday.

I went into Ulta to get a nail polish using the gift card I got for Christmas, but things took a two hour turn. Needless to say I walked out with six samples of products and this brand new tinted eyebrow mascara by NYX Cosmetics. I love NYX for their lippies, but this has got to be the next best thing smoking.

This NYX Cosmetics Tinted Brow Mascara ($6.99) says its a specially formulated gel that adheres to skin and hair for filled, defined and natural looking brows. I picked up one in shade Black. It literally took me about a half hour and I asked roughly ever person working, which shade they liked most between Black and Espresso, it was a tough choice. The espresso made my brows look natural yet washed out and ashy at the same time. The black made my brows pop and made these fine hairs of mine look as if they were growing out of my face. At first I thought the black made me look "made-up" you know how some people o.d. on the make-up and their brows look straight stenciled on...Anyway, I digress.

This tinted brow mascara really does look natural and you can pack it on or lay it on thin. I suggest applying it in thin layers because once its on, its on pretty well and it has staying power. I used an unused eyebrow brush to soften the look of my brows once applied. For the cost, Ill be going back for another pack along with the new brow gel. NYX Cosmetics is kicking butt already for 2015!

Alice + Olivia Resort 2015 Collection

Alice + Olivia's collection embodies my personality in so many ways! I love all things print, matching sets, floral, skirts, sexy dresses and just plain 'ol ladylike style. So many pieces can be worn together, separate and mixing of prints along with color blocking. Here are my favorites...I'd wear them all right now!

H & M Conscious Campaign

This H & M Conscious Campaign is exciting. I love the patterns, the lace and the "Empire State of Mind" for some of the pieces. I can see using many of these pieces in a photo shoot for a regal fashion story. What do you think?

Pleated Skirts

Pleated Skirts are all the buzz, whether short, midi or long, this is a skirt every woman should own. I am a lover of all skirts and dresses, so I have a few in my arsenal, but it doesn't hurt to snag a new one for spring...I think I'll opt for the pink leather next shopping trip. Pastels are on the color pallete for trend and neutrals are a staple for me. Try out one of the many styles of pleated skirts and see how flattering it is on you!
