Tyra Banks X Fault Magazine, Tyra is the Beauty Cover for issue 15. in
Fault Magazine. Fault asks its featured guests, "What's your Fault?”
which Tyra stated as a supermodel she encourages people to embrace their
imperfections and be confident about their own self-image. I love the video
that was shot for the cover. It is very dark, but artistic. I just like the
dangling jewelry on her hands, the teeth biting, her jeweled out visor helmet
headpiece, red ribbon body piece and the oversized spiked necklace. As I
sit and watch the video, one may view this footage as demonic. With all the
talk of the individuals in the entertainment industry as being a part of a
cult, one I wont name, this video reminds me a bit of the Beyoncé’
"Bow-Down" video and its connotations of the devil.
"Bow-Down" is in slow motion and has a demonic laugh in the
background, they are leaning under abnormal forces, there is a demonic clown on
the turntables, headless helpers and Beyoncé' has her face in the pyramid as
the eye. Tyra Banks video is dark, the movements are slow, her nails are
long and pointy claw-like just like the devil. Even the image above is
very evil; her face is scrunched with her teeth exposed as if she is growling.
