Between The Lines

Checked, plaid or windowpane, these fabric patterns are gaining popularity in menswear from sports jackets to the power suit and even if you can not tell them apart in the crowd, you will still be noticed.  Windowpane is a very boxy single color lines, while blanket plaid is a large-scale pattern often scene with many small lines creating one large section parallel to another section of equal amount of small closely aligned lines.  Checked patterns are small-scale squares created often with one single line color over a contrasting large colored background, or some designers just do what they want in creating the color wave, but still squared all around.
