Men's SS 2014: Sheer Runway

I quickly noticed the Men's Spring/Summer 2014 collections showcased a bit of a sheer vibe on the runway and I for one am not a fan.  I am not sure what is intended by these designers; whether it is to display a mans masculinity, make him look sexy, show his silhouette or give him breathable fabric, but I am not in favor of either. I found a few looks above from the collections of Astrid Andersen, MAN, J.W. Anderson, James Long, Christopher Shannon and Givenchy, all being a culprit of transparency.  These are not everyday looks and really hope they remain on the runway intending to be fillers and provide the audience with art in the form of fashion, since that is what one may believe clothes are to do anyway.  Ironically, these designers made sure they covered the mens genitalia and over exposed his nipples. One sheer take away (no pun intended) I have from these very telescopic pieces are the red and black sneakers in the James Long show, super dope. What do you think?
